The course is 9 weeks and involves reading the Bible in an accessible book club format. (Wed\, Oct 15-Dec 10\, 6:45-8:30pm) This time we will be Immersing ourselves in the first 5 books of the Bible in the ‘Beginnings’ volume. We would love to welcome back all who completed Immerse Messiah in the spring and anyone else interested in digging deeper into the Bible and finding out what Immerse is all about. \nYou’ll get your own (free) Immerse book and be invited to do some reading each week (either from the actual book or via a streamed audio version).  And like real book clubs\, it doesn’t matter if you finish your reading; just come and discuss! Join Jesse Sudirgo from Yonge Street Mission as he leads us in two Justice Workshops at 12:30pm in the Annex on Sundays\, May 7 & Sunday\, May 14 exploring this question. Jesse will be preached last week on May 7\, and following the service that Sunday and the next Sunday\, he is leading us in an exploration about how our theology can inform the way we engage the poor. DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED – Now on Wednesday\, April 26 (formerly Apr 12) at 7 pm\, Little Trinity’s Support Group for Adult Children of Aging Parents is pleased to host an in-person seminar by Sue Lantz\, entitled Strategies for Creating sustainable and Balanced Caregiving Teams.  Sue will lead a presentation and conversation about strategies for preparing and maintaining the most balanced and sustainable caregiving arrangements in ways that support an older adult to achieve their vision for successful aging while also ensuring caregivers are supported as well. \nSue Lantz\, BA\, MPA\, is the founder and managing director of Collaborative Aging and author of Options Open: The Guide to Mapping Your Best Aging Journey. She has a lifetime of experience in the fields of aging and disability\, shaping policy\, creating initiatives\, advocating and educating to enrich lives and communities. \nSue’s guidebook is highly recommended but not required reading for the seminars. The book will be available at the in-person session for the special group rate of $20.
