The Immerse Course – The course is 9 weeks and involves reading the Bible in an accessible book club format. This time we will be Immersing ourselves in several books of the Old Testament (Joshua, Judges, Ruth, Samuel, Kings) reading the ‘Kingdoms’ volume.
You’ll get your own (free) Immerse book and be invited to do some reading each week (either from the actual book or via a streamed audio version). And like real book clubs, it doesn’t matter if you finish your reading; just come and discuss! Find out more on the Immerse Bible Website HERE.
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. Look for details about our next Immerse course coming in 2027!
Here’s what past participants have been saying about what they enjoyed most about their Immerse experience:
“It was such a great way to study the Bible, but it was more than that, it was a way to be part of a community of people interested in digging deeper into the scriptures, wrestling with it, not getting every question answered, but learning more about Bible characters, ourselves and God.”
“Illuminating and supportive way to read scripture.”
“Getting to know the Bible from a different format. The book format of the Immerse book made the column format of my Bible I have loved reading come to life in ways that I had read but not seen before. Pretty cool.“
“The wonderful mix of attendees, with different outlooks of the same readings.“
“There have been several enormous benefits from this course for me, primarily my increased faith, trust and love for God. The weekly group meetings where everyone had the freedom to discuss their insights and personal reflections were more than memorable. I could do this course all over again…with pleasure!“
“I most enjoyed the fellowship, the spirit of discovery, and the mutual support trying to understand some challenging material.“
