Children’s Ministry at Little Trinity

Little Trinity Church has long been a community that welcomes and deeply values children. Our Children’s Ministry aims to lead children and their families to prayer, a deeper understanding of Scripture, fuller participation in the life of the Church, and a hope born of sure knowledge of God’s plan and their place in that plan.

Our Sunday morning ministry (Sept-June) follows the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) approach to faith formation. It provides a rich, intentional setting for the nourishing of that relationship in the context of community, and supports the developmental needs of the child.

Current Programs

Our Sunday morning programming year goes from September to June.

Summer Sundays begin June 28 and go to August 30, *excepting the long weekend (August 2).

What we can offer differs by service, and is contingent on enough volunteer support:

9 a.m.: Care and programming for babies/kids ~4 months to 4 years

10:45 a.m.: Care for babies/toddlers ~4 months to 36 months

If you have any questions, email Janelle Gordon, Director of Children’s Ministry.

Volunteer Needs and Info

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with our Summer Sunday children’s programming and care at both morning services. We plan to offer nursery care at both services and additional programming for ages 3-4 at the 9 am service, but it is contingent upon enough volunteer support. Volunteers can choose how many Sundays they wish to serve, but must complete several screening requirements, including a vulnerable sector check. If you are interested in helping out, even for one Sunday, contact Janelle Gordon, or fill out our application form and we will be in touch!
