Blue Christmas

Wed, Dec 20, 7:30pm – This is an intimate Communion service centred on the comfort and love of God, rather than the “making merry” celebrations of our culture during this season, this service will be held in person and livestreamed on our YouTube channel.
Join us as we share our lack or loss or sorrow and seek to open ourselves to a deeper and more profound celebration, one that has room for sorrow in the midst of joy and, perhaps, joy in the midst of our sorrow.
If you are remembering the loss of a loved one you are welcome to bring a picture of that loved one to share during the prayers of the people. But there are many other kinds of loss and grief, both tangible and intangible. Some of us are grieving the loss of a former church community that can no longer be the spiritual home it once was. We will seek to make room for these and all the losses we are experiencing this Christmas season.
