Update: Church in Regent Park
Dear Church Partners,
As the Toronto frost finally begins to loosen its grip, we are looking back at a winter season that was as challenging as it was rewarding. At Church in Regent Park, we’ve seen God move in quiet, steady ways—proving that even when the temperature drops, the heart of this community only grows warmer.
A Season of New Beginnings
Transitions can be rocky, but we are thrilled to share that the church is building. Since January, we have seen new faces visiting us every single week—this consistence we didn’t see in 2025.
The Community Dinner: A Lifeline in the Cold Our Community Dinner remains the heartbeat of our outreach. Despite the biting winter winds that usually keep people indoors, our guests continued to show up, seeking both a warm meal and even warmer company. We would love for you to join us in praying for the following:
• Hospitality & Love: Pray that we can provide even deeper hospitality at our community dinners. Our goal isn’t just to feed stomachs, but to “love our community to life” in the most tangible ways possible.
• Financial Provision: Growth often comes with growing pains. A few of our long-term givers have moved on to new seasons, and we are currently in need of financial support to sustain our operations and outreach. We trust that where God guides, He provides.
• New Leadership: As more seekers and new family members visit and join, we are in need of leaders to walk alongside them. Please pray for God to send us members with a heart to support and lead.
