Latest Update: A Thank You and a Give Opportunity

Dear Little T friends,

Every week at our Good Food Market we meet and provide fresh produce to people of all levels of income. That means that some who come through our doors can’t even afford the “at-cost” pricing that we provide. For these customers, we can offset some or all of the cost of their bill through our pay-it-forward system, called our “heart system”. Here is a thank-you from two sisters, new to Canada, who shop regularly at our market with the help of the heart system.

“Dear Church Team!
We are deeply grateful to the church for your kindness and generosity. Your support in providing fresh vegetables and fruits has truly meant so much to us. It’s not only a gift of nourishment, but also a reminder that we are cared for and not alone. These healthy foods are helpful for my daughter who is underweight. God bless you all with good health. Thank you for your compassion, your giving heart, and for making a difference in our lives. May your kindness be returned to you many times over.”

While we have many customers who contribute whatever extra they can to our “heart fund”, the long winter has taken a toll, and we’d love to augment the fund as we move into a new season. If you would like to help this family and others like them access fresh produce, you can donate through our regular giving channels HERE and mark your donation for “GFM Heart Fund”.

Thank you for your care for our neighbours!
