
Faith with Substance

Thu, Mar 6, from 7-9:30pm – Little Trinity will be hosting a “Faith and Harm Reduction” conversation. This workshop will aim at creating safe space for discussion and learning, rooted in spiritual reflection, to think about harm reduction from a faith perspective. The workshop will be led by:
- Rev. Angie Hocking – community minister in Regent Park and ordained Deacon in the Anglican Diocese of Toronto
- Keren Elumir – Church of the Resurrection long time member and staff at Moss Park Supervised Consumption Site and past nurse at Sanctuary Toronto
- Pastor Steve MacDouell – pastor at Free Church and instructor at Fanshawe University on drug policy
- Lyf Stole – member of TUMC Mennonite Church and past staff at Sanctuary Toronto
- Lorraine Lam – long time outreach worker and advocate in Toronto
- Rev. Jeffrey Dale – United Church minister, long time advocate of better drug policy, past user of illicit substances, PhD work in drug policy
