As we start a new calendar year I know there are a number of us who are looking for ways to deepen our life of faith, to know Jesus better. A good way to do that is through our small groups. Small groups are an important part of life at Little T because, among other things:
– They are the primary tool for ongoing Christian discipleship in our community;
– They are a great way for people to develop close, caring & supportive relationships in a growing community.
Currently there are 18 small groups spread out across the GTA meeting at different times and frequency & with different group cultures. Small groups are held in parishioners’ homes across the GTA, virtually or both. Each small group is structured differently and has typically between 6 to 12 members. Small groups meet weekly or biweekly. Small groups undertake to read and study the Bible, pray together, possibly share a meal, and deepen in faith and friendship. Some small groups follow our current sermon series, guided by discussion questions.
If you are interested in joining a small group you can contact Alex Newman , our office administrator, Gae Keyzer, or James Beck and we can begin the conversation of helping you find a small group home.
