Update: Lenten Call to Action – Alongside Hope

During Lent, we provided opportunities as a community to live into our vocation as image-bearers of Christ. One opportunity was to help offset the devastating impact of funding cuts to aid organizations around the world, by raising money for the Nyarugusu Refugee Camp in Tanzania, in partnership with Alongside Hope. We set a goal of $10,000, and are delighted that the congregation collectively raised $16,835, which was doubled by a matching grant through Alongside Hope to a total of $33,670! Thank you to everyone who gave generously to provide hope and practical support to refugees who have most deeply felt the impact of funding cuts.
